So to tide everyone over I thought it might help to explore some of the new elements of BBR2 in a series of blog posts, so you can see what we've been working on, and get a little preview of what's to come. Community Hub Beach Buggy Racing 2: Island Adventure BBR2: Island Adventure is a mayhem-filled kart-racer with an emphasis on split screen fun and game rule customization. There are 7 completely new tracks, including Raytona Stadium, a wiggly off-road motocross style track that twists and jumps through a massive open air arena and outdoor fairgrounds. So we are allowing ourselves time to polish, and tune, and hopefully find that sweet spot which will please existing fans and excite new ones.īut. BBR2 includes 22 totally unique race tracks. Beach Buggy Racing is such an important series for us, we really want to get the sequel right. But to be honest we've stopped estimating for people exactly when the game is going to be done. oh my gosh is it August already? The END of August?!?

Of course the biggest question we've been getting is "When is it going to come out?" And that's pretty understandable, since we originally thought we'd be done before summer, and here we are in. There are a set of unique power ups that players can use to trip up their opponents.
